Jamie Tarses was an American television producer and studio executive.
Jamie was the daughter of Rachel and television writer Jay Tarses (born Michael J. Tarses). She was of Russian Jewish and Polish Jewish descent. Her siblings were writer Mallory Tarses and producer and screenwriter Matt Tarses. She was also credited as Jamie McDermott, the surname of her former husband Dan McDermott.
Jamie had two children with her partner, executive chef and restaurant owner Paddy Aubrey.
